Researchers investigated the effects of Enovita, a standardized grape seed extract from Indena SpA, on human neuroblastoma cell lines. Produced from upcycled grape seeds using water extraction, Enovita is rich in oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPCs). The study found that GSE inhibits GABA-T, acetylcholinesterase (AChE), and MAO-A, while also demonstrating significant antioxidant activity. The findings suggest that GSE could be a viable natural supplement for improving mental health and cognitive function, with calls for clinical trials to further validate these results.
