A recent news report states that the Swedish agricultural cooperative, Lantmännen, has come up with two new versions of its plant-based PrOatein, an oat protein concentrate. This news was published in the multimedia publishing brand Nutritional Outlook.

The newer versions of the oat protein concentrate are called PrOatein Fine and PrOatein Organic. PrOatein Fine was introduced with the idea to use it in applications where mouthfeel is primarily important, especially in plant-based beverages and dairy alternatives. It has been developed in such a way as to have a smaller particle size for a smoother mouthfeel while containing the same amount of protein as traditional PrOatein, which comprises non-GMO oats from Sweden.

This organic line of PrOatein gives manufacturers the chance to utilize it in organic applications. In a press release by Lantmännen, it was stated that with the launch of this organic line of oat protein concentrate, the Swedish cooperative has been able to meet the growing global demands for organic ingredients and plant-based proteins.
