A recent news update on the increasing demand for plant-based and immunity-boosting food alternatives, states that the Swiss food and beverage (F&B) giant, Nestlé is gearing up to unveil its new product development (NPD) range in the coming weeks. This news was published in the leading international publisher, Nutrition Insight.

The new line of product includes Vital Proteins Daily Greens that consist of nutrient-rich superfoods, broad spectrum antioxidants, and research-backed probiotics. Nestlé is working towards expanding its alternative dairy developments and also collaborating with Fonterra to find ways by research of reaching a stage of emitting net zero carbon from its conventional dairy practices. This Swiss company has also recently taken over Orgain, a plant-based protein powder brand. Orgain will launch its Plant Protein + Collagen Powder that aids skin, hair, gut, and nail health because of its plant protein and bovine collagen peptides content.

Nestlé is meeting the increasing demand for plant-based protein alternatives by bringing its plant-based brand Sweet Earth into the limelight. The brand was promoted by Nestlé Professional as part of its Purpose-Driven Plant-Based Incubator at universities. The F&B giant will showcase some of its NPD during the Natural Products Expo West 2023 to be held at Anaheim, California in March.
