A recent news report has stated that the Switzerland-based company, ADM has joined hands with Marel (Gardabaer, Iceland) to build an innovation center in the heart of Netherlands. This news was published in the multimedia publishing brand, Nutritional Outlook.
With this joint venture agreement, the innovation center is supposed to manufacture and market new alternative protein products, keeping customer collaboration in mind. New processing techniques would be incorporated to leverage pilot plant production. The center will work towards expansion of alternative protein innovations to meet the rising demands of a growing world population. With the Marel partnership in place, ADM would reach out to the EMEA region with its advance protein innovation.
This new innovation center would be built with a focus on taste and texture that is customer-centric in approach. According to a statement by Marel, their long-standing relationship with ADM and their downstream processing capabilities will lead to unique innovations of finished products.
