Biosynthetic salidroside supplementation (60 mg/day for 16 days) demonstrated promising benefits for active individuals by enhancing oxygen utilization during high-intensity exercise, reducing exercise-induced muscle damage, and maintaining performance and stable mood states. Unlike the placebo group, which showed increased fatigue and muscle damage markers, salidroside helped sustain endurance and resilience. These findings highlight its potential as an adaptogen for improving physical performance and recovery, with further research needed to explore long-term benefits.
