A recent study published in the Journal of Orthopedic Research and Therapy has demonstrated the potential of Curcuwin Ultra+, a bioavailable form of curcumin, to enhance joint comfort and function in individuals with mild knee osteoarthritis. The study comprised of 134 participants who were divided into three groups and administered different doses of the curcumin extract or a placebo for a period of 84 days. Throughout the study, the researchers evaluated multiple parameters, including pain levels and physical performance, at various intervals.
The findings revealed that individuals receiving the highest dosage of the curcumin extract experienced significant improvements in pain, walking performance, and muscle strength within just five days, in comparison to the placebo group. Both groups receiving the curcumin extract demonstrated notable advancements in various outcomes when compared to the placebo group. Consequently, the study suggests that Curcuwin Ultra+ exhibits the potential to effectively alleviate joint discomfort and promote musculoskeletal functionality over a 12-week duration.
