The study explored the effects of salidroside supplementation on exercise performance in healthy young adults. Results indicated improved oxygen uptake during high-intensity exercise and reduced muscle damage, as shown by stable myoglobin levels in the salidroside group. Participants also maintained performance and mood stability, while the placebo group showed fatigue and reduced exercise capacity. These findings suggest salidroside may enhance endurance and recovery, but further research is needed to confirm its long-term benefits as an adaptogen for active individuals.
