The Advertising Standards Agency (ASA) has issued six rulings against brands making anti-anxiety claims in ads for supplements. Utilizing a new AI monitoring system, the ASA flagged and reviewed over 100,000 ads monthly, identifying non-compliant claims on products such as nootropic gummies and stress-reducing vitamins. Brands like Auri Nutrition, Novomins, Feel Güd, Nutriburst, Vitality Greens, and Well Gummies were challenged for unauthorized health claims and suggesting their products could treat or cure diseases. The ASA emphasized the need for supplement ads to adhere strictly to advertising regulations, prohibiting medicinal claims and requiring authorized health claims.
