Apple Cider Vinegar: A Natural Boost for Weight Loss and Metabolic Health?

Obesity is a global epidemic, and people are turning to simple kitchen staples like apple cider vinegar (ACV) for help. This study explored whether ACV could aid weight loss and improve blood markers in overweight Lebanese adults.
In a 12-week trial, 120 participants were split into groups taking 5, 10, or 15 mL of ACV daily, or a placebo. Researchers tracked weight, BMI, waist/hip measurements, body fat, blood glucose, triglycerides, and cholesterol at weeks 0, 4, 8, and 12.
The results were promising: All ACV doses led to significant drops in weight, BMI, body fat, and waist/hip sizes, plus lower blood glucose, triglycerides, and cholesterol starting as early as 4 weeks. Best of all, no side effects were reported.
ACV appears to be a safe, effective natural option for tackling obesity and metabolic issues, offering hope without the risks of harsher treatments.
