Agaricus KA21 mushroom is gaining attention for its promising role in enhancing reproductive health. Recent clinical trials have demonstrated its potential benefits for both male and female reproductive systems. In a study involving 24 male golfers aged 50-70, a daily dose of 900mg KA21 over two months resulted in significant improvements in symptoms of male menopause. The AMS (Ageing Male Symptoms) score dropped from 35 to 27, indicating reduced physical, sexual, and psychological decline. Additionally, the EHS (Erection Hardness Score) improved from 2.6 to 3, while the SHIM (Sexual Health Inventory for Men) score increased from 19 to 21, showing enhanced erectile function and overall sexual health. In a separate study on female fertility using an animal model, KA21 was shown to increase ovarian size and egg production, suggesting its potential to support ovarian health and combat age-related reproductive decline. These findings indicate that Agaricus KA21 mushroom could be a valuable ingredient for addressing menopause symptoms in both men and women, while also offering broader benefits for reproductive health.
