A MNC pharma company wanted to enter specialty nutraceuticals for ethical marketing. Nutrify Genie along with the qualified Nutrify Genie’s research team designed a formula matching each requirement and mapped it to contract manufacturer in India to deliver the expected outcome. The products are being successfully scaled up and commercialized.

 

Solution:

Nutrify Genie was engaged.

The requirement was to design clinically proven products with “Indianness” to its organoleptics.

Nutrify Genie: designed 3 formulas using traditional Indian botanicals with legacy of diabetes management. These ingredients were coupled with protein matching to PDCASS 1 with plant-based protein sources. The formula posed challenges on:

  1. How do we maintain low GI
  2. How do we address Diabetic neuropathy (1st step in India)
  3. How do we play the power of Indian traditional botanicals keeping in mind that the formulation had to have the indulgence characteristics -organoleptics
  4. The validation body that tests product designed by Nutrify Genie had to be an international authority.

Nutrify Genie along with the high-end research team of Nutrify Today designed a formula matching each requirement and mapped it to contract manufacturer in India to deliver the expected outcome.

Since the formula was designed using Nutrify Genie Managed Intelligence Harvesting, the contract manufacturer could create a prototype in first go and the product got approved in organoleptics by the team. The product got scaled up and the same was presented to top GI testing authority in Singapore to test and assign certificate of real low GI.

The cardiovascular portfolio on other hand repurposed well established ingredients into cardiovascular application by applying biochemistry logic and relevant clinical trials affirming the logic. The products are commercialized and successful

Now the company is lining up 15 products for next year.
