Macular Carotenoids May Ease Screen Strain

A six-month study of 48 young adults found that daily supplementation with lutein, zeaxanthin, and mesozeaxanthin improved macular pigment levels, visual performance, eye fatigue, headaches, and sleep quality. The findings suggest that macular carotenoids may help reduce some effects of prolonged screen exposure.
