Cranberry Powder Cuts Recurrent UTI Risk

In a 6-month randomized trial (150 women), 500 mg/day whole cranberry powder reduced culture-confirmed UTIs by 52%, lowered E. coli infections, delayed recurrence, and reduced total UTI episodes versus placebo. No safety concerns were reported. Cranberry powder is a safe, effective non-antibiotic option for recurrent UTI prevention.
