Nutritional Supplements for PCOS: Comparative Effectiveness Review

This network meta-analysis of 79 RCTs (5,501 women) found that chromium, inositol, omega-3, soy isoflavones, curcumin, and carnitine improve different PCOS markers. Chromium benefits hormones and antioxidant status, inositol improves lipids, omega-3 reduces insulin resistance, and soy isoflavones reduce oxidative stress. Supplements showed no major effect on testosterone or inflammatory markers.
